Subject: a thought on the date to ponder...
Just a thought, but this could be from:
1984-01-22 - Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, CA
I say that because that was a NAMM Convention show & these other artists played at it as well that day:
Tom Coster Group; Pat Travers Group; Narada Michael Walden
& that means that all of their sets could easily be of the 'shortened set variety' & it does sound like we catch Bobby & the Midnites here at the start of their set & they do seem to finish their set after "Ain't That Peculiar" ends.
https://gdsets.com/weir.htm#1984
No setlist is given, so just an educated guess, of course
Also note that this site claims that the 1984-01-22 NAMM Convention show took place at:
Winter Music & Sound Market, Anaheim, California
https://www.namm.org/library/blog/namm-show-location-date-history-1901-2018
Billy (or Bobby Cochran) does yell out "...for the boys in blue!!" during the final minute audience chanting of t07 "Josephine"...not sure if this is a clue toward this being the NAMM event or not.
Any thoughts??
